Fees
Your fees will be discussed with you in the initial assessment session. The initial assessment will be charged at the same rate as the fee agreed. My fees are subject to regular review. The appointment will last for 60 minutes unless we have prior agreement to have a longer session. Please be on time for your session as if you are late the session will not overrun and the agreed timings will be followed. Each appointment will take place in the consulting room at Lasyard House, Bridgnorth, I do not make home visits.
Full payment can be taken at the end of each session or can be invoiced following the session or at an agreed time period e.g., every week. If you are an overseas client, you are responsible for any additional bank charges from both ends to ensure that the full payment is received.

Cancellations
Cancellations may be made up to 24 hours before the appointment. If I can accommodate a last-minute change of schedule, I will. Otherwise, you will be charged in full if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance of the session.
Your rights regarding your personal information
Your personal information is held securely and is not shared with any other parties unless you sign or have signed a consent form for me to do so. The information is protected by the guidelines issued from the Information Commissioners Office (see: https://ico.org.uk/ for further details).
Online Communication
You may change appointments with me at my email, but please send no personal or clinical information online, since email is not a secure medium. If you send email from your employer's computer, your employer has legal access to it. Mobile phones and cordless phones are not completely confidential, either.
The jurisdiction of the United Kingdom applies to all of my online work as I operate from there. By accepting an electronic invitation to meet with me you are agreeing to accept the codes and ethics of my governing bodies based in the United Kingdom.
I never "friend" current or former clients on LinkedIn, Facebook, or any other social media.

Ending Therapy
You are able to tell me that you wish to end therapy at any point either face to face or via any other medium.
Environment
I can confirm that I will provide my clients with a safe and secure environment.
Confidentiality
I can confirm that I will respect client confidentiality at all times. There will be an exception if I believe that the client is about to harm themselves or others.
Confidentiality and Insurance
Almost all insurance that pays for mental health treatment requires periodic progress and process reports that become part of your permanent medical record. Minimally, a diagnosis is required. Often, goals of therapy and progress towards these goals are required to be reported. If you sign the insurance company’s consent form of confidentiality, I, the therapist, must report whatever information that your insurance company requests of me.
Treatment Plan
I can confirm that I will be clear with you about your treatment and will collaboratively build your treatment plan.
Declining My Services
I, the therapist, reserve the right to decline delivery of services and provide referral, if I assess that the continuance of therapy will be detrimental to the client or, in good faith, I feel that I am not adequately serving the client's best interests. I reserve the right to decline the delivery of services to clients arriving at sessions intoxicated or "high" on alcohol or non-prescribed drugs and to decline subsequent services if this behaviour continues. I reserve the right to expect non-exploitative and non-threatening treatment by the client, to seek resolution and, if necessary to decline services and seek appropriate intervention should exploitative treatment occur.
